Hey there! I'm Amy Zager, your friendly neighborhood tattoo artist, originally from the Windy City of Chicago, now soaking up the west coast sunsets in my private studio nestled among the hills of Oakland.

I have been a child of the arts all my life, pursuing it through school and earning a BFA in oil painting at the American Academy of Art in Chicago. My draw to tattooing came naturally - It's a form of expression that is rebellious, profound, as old as civilization, and ever-changing with our modern culture.

My artistic mission revolves around bringing your tattoo dreams to life. I work in full-color illustrative realism, watercolors, and painterly effects to give life to characters, people, pets, and the wonders of nature, space, and science. I don't have any one favorite style of tattooing, but my favorite pieces are always the custom ones, totally unique to my client and their own life story.

In my studio, diversity isn't just a welcome sign; it's the heartbeat. I passionately believe that body art is for EVERYONE, embracing individuals of all genders, sizes, configurations, chemistry, and colors.

Beyond the inked tapestry taking shape in my studio (or during one of my exciting guest spots), I find myself caught between the energy of city lights and the irresistible call of the wild. Home is where two furry companions, a royal orange cat, a brilliant partner, and an adventurous seven-year-old explorer create a symphony of joy. When I'm not nestled with the couch crew and my trusty iPad, catch me scaling mountains in my hiking boots or navigating canyons, or taking the long way home on my motorcycle.
