I am Theresa Gordon-Wade, a Scots tattoo artist living and working in the heart of England with my husband and daughter. I have my own small tattoo studio in a tiny town called Southwell. My studio is called Epona Tattoo Sanctuary and it's named for the Celtic goddess of horses. I have been tattooing professionally for 31 years and I'm still as passionate about it now as I was as an apprentice.

I have a deep love and respect for all animals especially horses and cats and have a deep care for our wildlife and natural planet. I attempt to keep my negative impact as minimal as possible and to eventually leave this life having made a positive if tiny change to any small part of the world. I also love astronomy, physics though I'm no real academic, trying to learn new languages such as German, Spanish and Scots Gaelic as well as pop culture particularly fantasy, sci fi and historical fact and fiction. I'm quite a bookish nerd really!

With my tattooing I specialize in tattoo transformations and coverups having developed a well rounded repertoire of styles and techniques from travelling visiting other artists around the world and attending tattoo conventions as often as I can. I am honored to be a small part of Marc Craven's Ink Fusion Empire which has opened up a whole new wonderful world of tattooing at pop culture conventions and introduced me to many other similarly minded tattooists from around the world. I enjoy the discovery of new things!

As I enter my 32nd year of my career I look forward to many more inspiring adventures meeting old friends and making new ones, improving my art even more and making beautiful tattoos telling person stories of all styles shapes and sizes for people as varied and marvelous as tattoos and stories can be. Asides from tattooing I am aware I'm not getting any younger so within my physical capabilities I would like to get more involved in such activities as beach cleanups, forest cleanups, continuing to swim and improving my health and of course more books!
